Welcome to The Seashirt!

When you shop with us, you automatically accept our sales terms and conditions. We therefore kindly ask you to read the following Terms of Use carefully before making a purchase on theseashirt.com.

MISCELLANEOUS
We ship all merchandise as trackable packages to ensure safe delivery. During transport, all parcels are insured. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

If your package or its contents are damaged on arrival, report it to the carrier immediately, or at the latest within two (2) days of receiving it, and then return the merchandise to us.

The Seashirt is not responsible for damage that occurs during transport after the parcel has been delivered in proper condition. All goods are packed carefully to minimise the risk of damage.

SHIPPING & HANDLING
All orders are shipped within 7 business days. If you require express delivery, please contact us via email before placing your order. Shipping delays caused by carriers (e.g., DHL) are outside the responsibility and liability of The Seashirt.

Shipping costs are country-specific and shown during checkout.

Germany: €8
European Union: €10
EMEA: €12
Rest of the World: €20

All international shipments are sent as insured parcels and commercial goods. Shipments to non-EU countries cannot be marked as gifts or low-value items to avoid customs charges.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

Within Europe: approx. 4–6 business days

Outside Europe: approx. 5–8 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance and local carrier processing.

RETURNS
We accept returns within 14 days from the date of receipt. Please complete the return form provided by us and include it in the return shipment. As soon as we receive the returned items and they pass our quality inspection, we will issue a refund to the same payment method used for the purchase. If the purchase was made via bank transfer, please include your IBAN and account details.

Please retain your shipping receipt as proof of dispatch.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed by The Seashirt.

Condition of Returned Items

While deciding whether to keep an item, please handle it with reasonable care, as you would in a store.

If the product shows signs of wear, damage, or diminished value beyond standard try-on, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the loss of value from your refund.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for another size or colour, please note this clearly in the return documents.

Additional shipping costs for sending out the replacement item will be charged.

NOTIFICATION OF DEFECT
All merchandise is subject to statutory warranty rights. As a customer, you may submit a complaint regarding defects that appear within 24 months of receipt, provided such defects are not due to misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear. Return shipping in the case of a warranty claim is not covered by The Seashirt unless required by law.

PAYMENT METHODS
We accept the following payment methods for all online orders: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express and all other major debit and credit cards supported by Stripe

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our external payment service provider. Stripe handles the payment transaction, including card authorisation and encryption, to ensure a safe checkout experience. Your payment information is processed exclusively by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

SECURITY
The Seashirt is committed to protecting your privacy. All data transmitted during checkout is secured using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, ensuring your information cannot be intercepted. Your payment information is handled solely by Stripe and/or your card-issuing bank. We do not disclose any customer information to third parties except where required for order fulfilment or by law.

CUSTOMS AND SALES TAX/VAT

All prices displayed in the online shop are final prices and do not include VAT. Shipping costs are added where applicable and are shown separately during checkout.

Deliveries to EU Countries:

For orders delivered to EU member states, no VAT is charged. The buyer is responsible for any country-specific taxes, charges or fees that may apply.

Deliveries Outside the European Union: For deliveries to non-EU countries, no German VAT is charged. Import duties, customs charges, or taxes levied by the destination country may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer.

The seller is a small business (“Kleinunternehmer”) according to § 19 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG). Therefore, no VAT is charged or shown on invoices.

Where applicable, customs duties, import VAT, handling fees or other charges imposed by the destination country’s authorities are not included in the purchase price. These costs are borne by the customer and may be collected by the carrier upon delivery.
